Location
Narrogin IS THE IDEAL LOCATION FOR A BESS Project
Narrogin BESS Project will be located around 5km south of Narrogin, and 200 km south-west of Perth, Western Australia’s capital. Covering approximately 25 hectares of land, the battery project will be in a prime location to have excellent access to Western Australia’s energy network.
Why at Narrogin?
There are many reasons why Narrogin has been chosen as the site for our proposed battery project. Some of these include:
- It has excellent access to Western Australia’s energy infrastructure through the adjacent Narrogin South Substation;
- It has a generally flat terrain that has been largely cleared for agriculture in the past;
- The immediate surrounding sites comprise of natural green belt and agricultural farms, which act as a buffer, ensuring that the project will not cause disruption or visual impact to nearby townships and will have minimal impact on the local population; and
- It is highly accessible through transport connections to the Narrogin Valley Road and Mellons Road and access points are already established on the site.
